Abstract

The new Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument – Global Europe (NDICI-Global Europe) is the main financing tool for implementing EU cooperation with partner countries. With a total EU budget of €79.5 billion, it covers more than 70 % of the EU funding allocated for external action in the 2021-2027 financing period. The NDICI-Global Europe regulation defines the financial envelopes for geographical and thematic programmes, emerging challenges and priorities cushion.
