| dc.description.abstract | At end November 1980 the number of registered unemployed in the European Commu-nity as a whole was some 7.6 million. In terms of the civilian working popula-tion this represents an unemployment rate of 6.9%. This rate has gone beyond 10% in two countries : Belgium and Ireland. The lowest rates were recorded in Luxembourg (0.9%), the F.R. of Germany (3.7%) and the Netherlands ( 5.8%). |
