Abstract

This is the annual report of the European Social Fund ·for 1979 submitted by the Commission to the European Parliament and the Council in accordance with Article 6 of Council Regulation (EEC) No 858/72 (1) which reads as foll01f.'S : 11Every year the Cormnission shall, before 1 July, submit to the European Parliament and to the Council, a report on the activities of the Fund carried out during the past financial year giving inter alia a break-down of the appropriations cormnitted for operations during that financial year.
