The Institute of the European Investment Bank has now been operating for one year.

Focusing on the social aspects of the crisis has been a key focus of the Institute in 2012. Its action is expanding into new areas, enlarging the EIB’s reach towards vulnerable groups in the European Union.

The EIB’s Institute’s goal is the promotion of European initiatives for the common good. It connects social, educational and research, philanthropic and cultural activities with the EIB core business.
