Abstract

The Statistical note contains data on the evaluation of persons employed, turnover and wages and salaries by industry in the Member States, and a series of tables on production, external trade etc. of motor vehicles in the Member States of the European Community and in the world. The indices of industrial production published in the first part of this issue are based on the average of 1970 = 100. The weighting scheme of the national indices into Community indices is based on the gross value added at factor costs in 1970. The second part contains data, in physical units on the production of 420 products. The German data refer to the Federal territory and Berlin (West).
