dc.description.abstract | The transition from education into working life is among the key topics of current social research and policy interests, as it touches upon the core issue of youth labour market integration in different European countries. In 2000 Eurostat launched an additional questionnaire to the LFS, targeting recent school-leavers (5-10 years since leaving continuous education for the first time) aged 15-35 in twenty European countries: all EU Member States with the exception of Germany; and six candidate countries (Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia). |
