Within the European Union - EUR 12, nearly 60% of enterprises employing 10 or more employees provided continuing vocational training (CVT) in 1993. On average, the opportunities oí being trained are higher in larger enterprises than in smaller ones. However, in Denmark and Germany, CVT is of the same concern whatever the size of the enterprise. The probability of working for an enterprise which provided CVT in 1993 ranged from almost 100% in Germany, Denmark and the United Kingdom, to above 50% for virtually all other EUR 12 Member States.
