| dc.description.abstract | The total numberofregistered unemployed in the Community of Nine reached the figure 10.7 Million at the end of January 1982. The corresponding unemployment rate calculated by reference to the civilian working population was 9.7 %. Thus, in terms of labour market trends, the year 1982 began in the same way as 1981 ended, with a general and substantial rise in unemployment affecting all Member states without exception. |
