dc.description.abstract	This. RAPID INFORMATION note provides a structural analysis of the statistics published in the MONTHLY BULLETIN -UNEMPLOYMENT of EUROSTAT. The data it contains come from the national Employment Offices. These data are drawn up following a standardized procedure at European level. However full international comparability is not possible due to differences in the legislation and administrative practices of Member States. More information on these points is contained in the Methodological notes on page 1 7. Compared with the previous publication in this series, the present Rapid Infor-mation contains, in addition to the up-dated figures, new tables on unemployment according to former economic activity and on number of unemployed in the diffe-rent regions 'of the European Community.
