dc.description.abstract	The seasonal fall in the number of registered unemployed in the Community between end-April and end-May 1980 amounted to more than 140 000 persons, bringing the total down to under 6.1 million. Registered unemployed as a percentage of the total working population declined from 5.7% at end-April to 5.6% at end-May 1980. The seasonally correoted figures, however, show an inorease,
