The total Community crude steel production for 1994, at 138.9 mio.t. , worked out ari increase of 5. 0% compared with 1993 . Comparisons on a quarterly basis produce the following results: 1st quarter: +3.4%; 2nd quarter: +2.8%; 3rd quarter: +4.8%; 4th quarter: +9.2%.
