dc.description.abstract	The tables which follow contain the principal results on the civilian working population and in civilian employment in the Member States of the Community in the last five years (1973-1977)· The data have been provided to the Stati-stical Office of the European Communities by the national statistical services concerned. They comprise annual estimates made on the basis of international recommandations. These tables, together with other regular statistics on employment and the labour market, will appear in the publication "Statistics of Employment and Unemployment — 1978" to be issued in the series "Social Statistics towards end of November.
