Statistical Telegram. Monthly Statistics of Registered Unemployment in the European Community.

Abstract

The percentage of the civilian working population registered as unemployed at the end of April 1977 in the European Community is estimated at 5.2%; this compares with 5.3% in March 1977 and 4.9% in April 1976. The total number registered as unemployed at end April was some 5.4 million, a reduction of more than 100,000 compared with the previous month.
