| dc.description.abstract | EUROSTAT's annual publication "DEMOGRAPHIC STATISTICS" contains detailed
figures of the population by sex and age groups, births, deaths, migration,
marriages, divorces, expectation of life, etc. up to 1984, for t~e individual
Member States as well as for the Community as a whole.
1985 data for the principal demographic series are available for most
countries and are given in the table hereafter. Countries have indicated
that, for the most part, the 1985 data are provisional. In the case of Spain,
the figures of births, marriages and deaths relate to the year 1983, no later
data being available. |
