However, given the timetable (rapid questionnaire sent out in April 2002 with a return date of May), not all countries could provide all the information while some figures are provisional or estimates. Additional and/or more definitive information will be published in the annual reports of the Council of Europe (« Recent demographic developments in Europe 2002 ») and Eurostat (« Demographic Statistics 2002 »
