Abstract

On 2 April, the Commission adopted the White Paper on damages actions for breach of the EU anti-trust rules1, to which is annexed a Commission Staff Working Paper, which explains in more detail the policy proposals. The White Paper follows on from a Green Paper on the same subject, published in December 2005, on the public consultation and on opinions of the European Parliament (EP) and of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) on that Green Paper.
