dc.description.abstract	This is the annual report of the European Social Fund for 1986 presented by the Commission to Parliament and the Council pursuant to Article 8 of Council Regulation No 2950/83 of 17 October 1983 on the implementation of Decision 83/516/EEC on the tasks of the European Social Fund.1 Article 8 of Council Reg~lation (EECl No 2950/83 provides that: "The Commission shall submit to the European Parliament and to the Council before 1 July of each year a report on the activities of the Fund during the preceding financial year".
