dc.description.abstract	This is the annual ~eport of the ~Jropean Social Fur1d for 1981 presented by the Commission to the European Parliament and the Council pursuant to Article 6 of Council Regulation (EEC) No 858/721 ~ which reads as follows: "Every year the Commission shall, before 1 July, sul:mi t to the European Parliament and to the Council a report on the activities of the Fund carried out during the past financial year giving inter alia a breakdown of the appropriations committeq for operations during that financial year~ The report shall also cover foreseeable developmffi1ts in the coming three years regarding a~nditure relating to actions undertaken pursuant to Articles 4 and 5 of Decision 71/66/EEC" ..
