Abstract

This is the annual report of tt;<'c E.c.~op~an Social Fund for 1978 submitted by the Commission to the European Parliament and the Council in. accord-ance wHh Article 6 of Council Regule.tion.CEEC) No 858/72 (1) which reads as follows "Every year the Comrnission shall, before 1 July~ submit to the European Parliament and to the Council a report on the ac·t",vi.ties of the p,~nd carried out during the past financial year giving inter alia a breakdown of the appropriations committed for operations during thitt. financial -rear.
