Association between the European Economic Community and Turkey. Eighth annual report of the Association Council to the Parliamentary Committee of the Association

Abstract

1972 was the eighth year of the Association. It was the first full year in which the trade arrangements of the Additional Protocol - which entered into force in advance on 1 September 1971 under an Interim Agreement which was extended on 20 July 1972 pending ratification of the Protocol - were implemented. Ratification procedures for the Additional Protocol, the Second Financial Protocol and other texte signed on 23 November 1970 were also completed that year. These acta entered into force on 1 January 1973.
