Statistical bulletin. Population. Updating of Principal Demographic Series 1983.

Abstract

Eurostat's annual publication "Demographic Statistics" contains detailed figures of the population by sex and age groups, births, deaths, migration, marriages, divorces, expectation of life, etc. up to 1982, for the individual Member States as well as for the Community as a whole. 1983 data for the principal demographic series are available for most countries and are given in the table hereafter. Countries have indicated that, for the most part, the 1983 data are provisional.
